8 Years Ago Today...

I married one of the most amazing people I have ever known. Through good times and bad, we have made it through...and always come out stronger after the bad times and even more in love after the good times. My amazing husband has grown into an amazing father and watching him with our son is the thing that makes me the happiest in the world.

Happy 8th Anniversary to my Mr. Bear!

Happy New Year!

For New Years we took Camdent o the Japanese American National Museum in Los Angeles. They had an exhibit featuring the internment camps set up to house Japanese-Americans during WWII. Since my grandma and her family were placed in one of the camps in Tule Lake, this was such an interesting and moving exhibit to see. My grandma, her parents and sisters along with all the other families placed in the camps endured so much and lost so much. An important part of our history of persecution just for being born a certain way.

Artwork done by one of the interment camp survivors, dozens and dozens of family surnames from the campsite she was placed in.

Camden playing with the drums

Fun!

A really blurry pic of the taiko performance

Camden actually sat still and listened while they played
