The Daddy Bag

For Valentine's Day Ryan got his very own "daddy bag". It's a Ju-Ju-Be just like mine, which I think I am more excited over than he is. I could have handed him a plastic shopping bag and he would have been fine with that, but I wanted him to have a good one :)

Meeting the Shimizus

Last night we had the pleasure of finally meeting the Shimizus, Jennifer and Dean. I had been emailing with Jennifer regularly so the actual meeting kind of just seemed like a formality, as I already felt like I had known her for a while. They were nice enough to treat us to a delicious dinner at Yamabuki.

They are anxiously awaiting their travel date in March to go meet their baby girl, Sakura. It was wonderful to hear their excitement and anticipation of the journey that awaits them. It made us so excited for both of them as they were both glowing, especially Jennifer. It’s wonderful to see people’s dreams come true.

Yesterday my mom and I went and celebrated the meeting with Taz by of course...shopping! We had a wonderful lunch at Tokyo Lobby (so good!) and she bought the baby bag I wanted for me at Bergstroms. It is so cute and as all the ladies will agree, a cute baby bag is very important!

We also went and took some very silly photos at Sticki Picki...it sometimes amazes me the things I can convince my mom to do! We had a great day and it was the perfect way to celebrate our waiting list status.
