Disneyland & Bday Cake!

Our little baby boy turned one today...it has been the most amazing year of our lives. It never ceases to amaze us how someone we have known for such a short time, can be such an integral part of who we are now that he is here. We simply cannot imagine life without our little guy.
Camden, we love you more and more each day...you are always full of laughter and smiles and silliness. Watching you grow and helping you learn has been the most wonderful thing in the world. We look forward to the many years ahead that we will get to share with you.

Tenorikuma...for our baby bear :)

Camden loves his great grandparents!

Being our silly little guy and making everyone laugh

Showing off for Great Grandpa :)

Yay!

All smiles :)

A special Camden and Great Grandma moment before saying goodbye

We started Camden's birthday with breakfast at Goofy's Kitchen inside the Disneyland Hotel

Baloo stopped by for a visit before we even sat down

This was the first time Camden grabbed a big piece of food without me cutting it into small pieces for him, it was a Mickey Mouse shaped pancake

Chef Goofy!

Hi Chip!

Go away, Chip!

Camden's 1st pair of Mickey ears..."Pooky" :)

With Daddy and his halloween balloon

Mr. Toad's wild ride, Camden's 1st ride at Disneyland

This was Mommy's favorite, riding together on the carousel with my sweet booboo

He was so happy!

Waiting in line for Dumbo

In our little Dumbo car

He was exhausted! He slept for two hours so we just sat and people-watched

On the Winnie-the-Pooh ride

Not sure what Daddy was pointing at, but he sure was excited about it :)

Last shot of the day before heading home...we had SO much fun taking him to Disneyland for the first time. Although, everything is more fun with this little guy around!

Camden's Baby Luau

For Camden's 1st birthday, we decided to do what all the baby books say not to do and have a big party with lots of people. He (and we) are so fortunate to have so many wonderful family and friends that love us, we couldn't imagine it being any other way. In honor of my grandparents and aunties who made the trip out from Hawaii, we chose a baby luau theme!

Ryan and his birthday boy!

Camden went straight to my grandma,
who he hadn't seen for almost a year...
several people commented on their amazing connection, just like I had with her when I was small. Camden is so lucky to know his great-grandparents!

My old, dear friend Ty with his sweet girlfriend, Christina

One of Camden's guncles and one of my dearest friends, Gary

Aunty Jeanette! There is something really neat about watching your dearest friends that you grew up with holding your child...

Camden, Denise (Ryan's friend and hair-stylist), Hazel, CJ and Ivy

Hazel was one of the cutest, sweetest little girls I have ever met!
She wanted to give Camden a hug :)

Having fun with Aunty Summer

Ryan, his childhood bestie, Mike, and Ryan's Pop

Our friends, the Alvarez Family
Noah (just one day older than Camden), Dan, Rosa and Roman

Me hogging my friend's little baby, Chase

Still holding him! :) That's his momma, Cricket, in the back there

Camden is obsessed with my mom's glasses!

Great Grandpa and his boy!

Eating with the great g-parents...

Ryans mom, cousin Michael, Aunty Lynda and our wonderful neighbor Marilyn

Cousins!

Hamming it up with cousin Kathy

The grandmas enjoying the party

ooh! a lantern! Kathy was nice enough to indulge Camden!

Pop, Mike, Camden and Grammy

My grandparents...love love love!!!
I cannot even begin to tell you how much these two people mean to me :)
Great Grandma's boy for sure!

With cousin, Alli, a fellow Hawaii transplant

Playing with Lauren's cell phone...

Loving all the attention...such a little ham!
With Michael and Lauren
Towards the end of the party Camden was getting a little "crazy"...Erin did a good job of handling him tho!

Grammy, Pop, Daddy, Mommy and baby boy :)

More crazy antics from Camden for Alli and Thanh

Crawling with Lauren...

Camden had SO much fun with everyone once he took it all in and got used to having so many people around. We are so thankful to all our Yamamoto cousins and Aunty Fudge from up north, my Uncle Larry from Las Vegas, Ryan's parents from Arizona, Aunties Janet and Lynda from Hawaii and most especially my grandparents from Hawaii who made the trip to be here for our boy's special day. We cannot tell you what it meant to us...Camden will grow up knowing he is loved by so many, he is a lucky little boy!
