Happy 6 Month Birthday!

Camden is six months old today and we can hardly believe it. It seems that just yesterday we were pregnant and aimlessly roaming the aisles of Babies R Us wondering what we should by and how much of it. We now have a rapidly growing and developing baby boy who we are so proud of!
At his 6 month check-up his stats were:
18.1 pounds (50th percentile)
27.5 inches (60th percentile)
45.5 cm head circumference (75th percentile)...yes he has a big ol' head!
Camden has been eating solids for a couple of months now, since back in the day when he was just four months old...he now eats a pretty varied array of foods:
apple, avocado, banana, blueberry, broccoli, carrot, lentils, mango, oatmeal, peach, pear, peas, prune, rice cereal, sweet potato, yam and zucchini

Camden in his highchair, looks like prunes were the dish for this meal

We may be biased, but this is the cutest tushy we have ever seen!

He loves his silly monkey toy from Grandma!

Just hangin' out with Mommy

This is what we generally see now when trying to dress him or change his diaper...needless to say it was a lot easier when he just laid there like a bump on a log.

After proudly rolling over and squirming away from the clothes I am trying to put on him

Happy boy in just his diaper!

Pooky-bear

All tuckered out on his six month birthday after spending a fun morning with Mommy and Daddy...we went for coffee at Peet's, got lots of organic fruits and veggies for baby at Whole Foods, then topped it all off with a trip to Babies R Us where he got a couple of new toys. The ball he is clinging to while asleep was one of them.

April's Special Visits

Easter weekend my dad was able to make a trip out to California from Oklahoma to see his brothers and meet his grandson. My Uncle George was nice enough to drive down from Visalia and pick up my dad from LAX and drive him to our place and stay for a long afternoon. It was great to see both of them and very special to watch Camden meet his other grandpa.

Grammy's first visit mid-April since moving to Arizona at the beginning of this year...
I think both Camden and Grammy missed each other a whole lot!
It was nice to see her as we haven't ever been separated from Ryan's parents for such a long period of time...next time we hope Pop will make it out too. Camden is quite lucky to have so many grandmas and grandpas that all love him so much!

Easter Pics

Camden's Easter pictures...5 months old
Camden quickly took to the sweet little bunny at the photo studio...
his name was Steven. We think Camden will be an animal lover like Mommy & Daddy :)

Couldn't resist buying this one, we just love his sad face!

Baby's 1st Easter

As with every first Camden has, this Easter was extra special now that we have our little guy to share it with...here are a few pics from the holiday!
Looking at his card for Mommy...

...and handing Mommy the card!
It was so extra cute to have him actually give it to me!

Camden with his basket from the "Easter Bunny" and card from Mommy & Daddy

Yes, Camden can read :)

Some of his Easter goodies

He really loved this little bunny!

At Grandma's house for Easter "dinner"

Grandma made him his own little basket out of felt
and then stitched in
"For Camden, love Grandma"
It was so sweet and when I saw the stitched inscription I got all teared up!
Camden posing on his changer in one of his bunny outfits I picked out for him...
I just love that adorable smile!

Done with pics and wanting to take the darn hat off...

We also went down to the Irvine Park Railroad so he could ride the Easter train for the first time. He is still pretty young, but he seemed to enjoy looking at everything as we rode past...Ryan and I had a great time!

Some park pics after the train ride, it's such a pretty park!

Happy 1st Easter, little baby!
