Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas everyone! This year was a wonderful holiday season for us, we were blessed with visits with good friends, family and of course every moment with Camden is joyful. Here are some pics from our Christmas...

Our happy little boy...we did this in lieu of a Santa pic, I figured it would just scare the poop out of him anyway :)

Our little elf busy in his toy shop...I'm sure Camden will hate me for this when he is a teenager! haha!

Ryan and Camden on the Nutcracker set at Fullerton College

We had an early Christmas celebration with Ryan's folks who drove out from Arizona in the horrible rain. Thankfully they had a safe trip both ways and we enjoyed them so much. We really miss having them close. Ryan and Pop were on dish duty after dinner so the ladies could rest!

A Grammy and Camden moment...

Just hangin' out!

Grammy actually got some cuddles out of busy Camden!

Daddy putting together Camden's new play table...a gift from Grandpa Jim in Oklahoma!

Showing everyone his new train set from Grammy and Pop

Mommy got whacked in the head by a somewhat clumsy 14 month old :)

Helping Camden unwrap his gifts

Who is that and why is he looking at me???

Ryan got some cash from his mom and pop...1s, 5s, 10s and 20s all individually wrapped!

Playing legos at his new table!

Making holiday cookies with Daddy Christmas Eve Day

Cookies and milk left for Santa Christmas Eve...

Wow! Santa really came!

Checking out his new hoop with Ryan

Christmas pancakes made by Daddy! Orange flavor...yum!

So sweet!

These two have so much fun together!

Camden got us Papa Bear & Mama Bear mugs for Christmas!

Another sweet daddy and son moment...

Playing with his blocks on his new chair for downstairs

Getting ready to open his other presents up

All pooped out...it's been a long morning

Christmas card from Mommy & Daddy

Spot wasn't left out, he got a snuggie from Santa...and apparently he loves it!

Playing with his tool set from Daddy

Ryan loves watching Camden play with tools, he can't wait until they can do stuff outside together!

For Christmas dinner, our cousins Alli, Thanh and Tracey came over along with my Mom. It was so fun to have them all over especially since Tracey was visiting from Hawaii. She and Camden got to meet for the first time.

One of the super cool things Alli picked out for Camden, crayons shaped like cats!

Amongst the many sweet gifts they brought was a pop-up version of the Hungry Hungry Caterpillar...Camden LOVED it as you can see here!

Holiday Visitors

Mid-December we were lucky enough to have two very special visitors, Margaret & Ivy! They were our first overnight guests since Camden was born so this was quite an event. Besides the fact that we just love their company. It was a short, but wonderfully fun-filled visit, and I have to give Margaret credit for braving the plane trip alone with a toddler, not sure I'd be up to that challenge! We are thankful they came to see us...

Two babies in my car! Loved it :)

Ivy tried out Camden's Rody horse...I think she liked it!

Playing and hanging out in Camden's room

This was too sweet watching Ryan with little Ivy in his lap!

It was kind of funny to watch them toddle around together and discover things

Looking out the door...not sure at what tho!

Our big outing for the trip was to Pretend City in Irvine. This place was awesome! So many great fun, learning activities for kids of many ages to enjoy. I love that the entire place was kid-friendly so I didn't have to keep picking up my crawler/cruiser and put him back in the stroller constantly. He loved having freedom to roam around and just play!

Fascinated wit the "Exit" sign

Ivy checking out the play garden

I loved these walls of "trees" with fake fruit in the holes so they felt like they were picking it off the tree. We were told too that all the fruit was replicated even down to the weight of a real piece of fruit. So much thought went into this place, it still amazes me.

Camden loved the "trees" too!

Beep! Beep!

Playing in the Ralphs grocery store...Ivy kept bringing Camden food for his basket :)

Camden was in heaven once he discovered all the plastic bottles he could finally touch, hold and squeeze without them being taken away!

In the special Curious George room

Playing together with the elevator button

What's next?

Camden found a little construction area

Trying on a silly hat :)
